1:1 & Group Sessions

(30 min per session)

Our 1:1 and group session are the perfect way for players to sharpen their scrum technique and take their game to the next level. Whether you’re just starting out or already playing at a high level, these tailored sessions focus on the core development principles of a dominant scrum — tech/tact , physical, and mind set. Individual coaching gives players the detail and feedback they need to refine their technique, while group sessions replicate real match scenarios, building timing, power, and connection. Each session is designed to give players the confidence to perform under pressure and the tools to dominate the scrum.

The scrum is the ultimate test of physicality — and success starts with the right training plan. IronBull provide specialist physical development programmes designed to meet the unique demands of scrummaging, balancing off-season strength building with in-season maintenance and performance work. These programmes target the core attributes every elite front rower needs to dominate at the set piece: strength, explosive power, stability, mobility, and endurance under pressure. By combining rugby-specific conditioning with a tailored approach to each player, the plan ensures you’re not just strong in the gym, but stronger, safer, and more effective where it matters most — in the scrum.

Introduction to Scrum

Our Introduction to the Scrum programme is designed specifically for young players and new front rowers taking their first steps into the set piece. Safety and confidence are at the heart of every session, with a focus on teaching the fundamental basics — body shape, binding, positioning, and working together as a unit. By breaking the scrum down into simple, progressive stages, we help players build the right habits from the start while developing strength, stability, and awareness. This programme gives youngsters the perfect foundation to enjoy scrummaging, grow their skills, and prepare for the demands of competitive rugby in a safe and supportive environment.
